Dreu Edward Murin was born in Susanville, CA. He was raised by Edward and Mary Ann who remain huge inspirations in his life. Dreu attained both his undergraduate and graduate degrees at the University of Nevada which he uses as a adjunct faculty member at Lake Tahoe Community College. Dreu has always been active in his community and is considered an ambassador after becoming a respected member of the Reno and Lake Tahoe Community. Living life to the fullest with his black lab, Diesel. He enjoys everything the Reno/Tahoe area has to offer, as a member as well as often traveling around the country with family. Dreu has been very successful both locally and nationally in radio and television. Dreu is an afternoon drive radio DJ on KTHO 97.1 FM in Lake Tahoe where he got his start in media. He also is the host of a local hit television shows “Ultimate Tahoe Adventures” and a new talk show “Dreu with U” on Mountain Resort Television on KAME My21 TV which airs every morning and highlights all of the exciting adventures Reno/Tahoe has to offer. Dreu’s Production company Dreu Murin Productions (DMP) is booming. On top of producing many large event’s stage shows each year DMP is responsible for booking over 120 live music acts, 150 DJ’s, providing gogo dancers for three major nightclubs and running over 50 promotional models for events and liquor companies in the Reno/Tahoe area. As of late Dreu has co-produced many very popular “LIVE” production shows including Decadence Cabaret, Essence Cabaret, Electrify Burlesque at hard Rock Hotel, Country Artist Tribute and IMpossible with Alex Ramon all of which are on long term extensions at Caesars Entertainment. Furthermore, Dreu is the co-host of a National syndicated television show Wild Fish Wild Places that is aired in nine countries on World Fishing Network and is currently is the #1 show on the WFN network. He travels to remote places around the globe searching out locations and fish that people have never seen before in some circumstances his show is the first to show some species on camera. If that isn’t enough for three full-time jobs , This needs to have the end of the sentence on it. Dreu is also a highly sought after "live announcer" and ambassador for many watermen as well as winter related events internationally. He is the main announcer for many RedBull events across the country, numerous surfing and Stand Up Paddle events, and has also commentated the largest of international events. Dreu is a commentator for the International Surfing Association World Championships which is the precursor to the Olympics. Just when you think that’s it, you can always catch Dreu in his limited free time volunteering and donating his time to non- profits and fundraisers around the Reno/Tahoe area. You can even see him running around on the court as the in-game announcer for the Sacramento Kings affiliated D League team the Reno Bighorns!!!
